Greenville Spartanburg Anderson Technology Council Convention

Yesterday, May 1st, Ivan Contreras, CEO of Carbures USA spoke at the Greenville Spartanburg Anderson Technology Council Convention (GSATC)
The Clemson Small Business Development Center (SBDC), GSATC and Upstate SC Alliance wants to introduce local businesses to opportunities to expand their customer base in the aerospace industry without having to leave South Carolina.

They are doing that today through “Expanding Your Business in the Aerospace Industry”.
The forum included featured briefings from CARBURES, Lockheed Martin, ADEX Machining Technologies, GKN Aerospace. They highlighted new projects and share best practices for success in this growing market. Networking and Q&A sessions were planned.

The program featured a keynote presentation from Steve Townes, President & CEO of Louis Berger Services, Inc., and Founder of Ranger Aerospace. A panel of industry professionals (Ivan Contreras among them) addressed questions to conclude the event.
